Founded in 1983 by Ray Geisman, D.V.M., Hampton Animal Hospital is a full service provider of veterinary care to dogs, cats, and other pets living in St. Louis City and nearby areas of south and west St. Louis county. I also provide house calls to a larger part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. On the following pages you will find a more complete list of the services and procedures we provide, but we do provide a full range of medical, surgical, dental, and diagnostic services.

I am the only veterinarian at the practice. So, if you choose to come here, you will not be seeing a different doctor each time you visit - I will be the one taking care of  your friend and helping you to make decisions concerning your pet’s treatment. I believe this personalized approach is one of the best services that I can offer you and your pets.

60% of my patients are dogs, 39% are cats, and the remaining 1% are hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, etc.  I have been extensively involved in the care of police dogs in the St. Louis area, and I currently work with more of them than any other veterinarian in this area.
